Awesome tips for online search
Since everything is coming online these days, such as
matrimony, shopping, communication, almost every aspect of modern human life is
depending on this wonderful creation of Science and Technology. Today even classical things like
education is also getting on Internet, there are millions of online education
programs alluring students and education seekers all around the world.
Going Online for
education and learning is one hot trend in the world of academics now a days, everyday
more and more students are going online to find the answers of their problems
regarding learning and education.
Internet is the ocean
of information and you can find every kind of information on this marvelous
tool made by science
and technology. But while searching in such a large amount of information
and knowledge, one has to be cautious while searching study
tips students.
Tips while searching
Online:
1. Be as precise as possible in your
search.
By using an exact
search phrase, you're more likely to get the answer you're looking for.
"This helps you find an exact phrase on a Web page and will usually lead
to the information you are looking for very quickly," Also, use quotation
marks, which is common search-engine syntax for "look for that exact
phrase." Many search engines also have a box for "Exact Phrase
Match" that you can check.
2. Get to know what Boolean searching
means, and does.
Boolean search terms
allow you to get even more precise with your queries. The three main search
terms — "AND," "NOT" and "OR" — enable you to
include or exclude certain terms in your results.
3. Use more than one search engine:
Every search engine
has its own listing s of results and sites, you know results coming on top and
it is possible that you may not get the desired answer on your favorite engine,
so give it a bit a rest and try some other engines.
4. Flexible with search:
Even if you fail to
get the answer first place, you should be able to rephrase your query, and try
a few more times while searching for your answers.
5. Filters & Firewalls:
Even though internet
is the biggest ocean of information and knowledge but it is also true that it
also has a pretty huge amount of wrong information and provocative sites, so,
if you have your child using internet and want to protect him from such things
you must use some filters applied in your search engines and also using
firewalls is suggested.

Kinetic energy and Science: A fun journey with technology
The formula of kinetic energy of a non rotational
object m moving at a velocity v is
mv2. All the types of
energies for example gravitational energy, chemical energy, mechanical energy
etc are classified in two categories i.e. kinetic energy and potential energy.
The cycle of energies can be explained with an example like a rickshaw puller
converts its energy of food and uses it to accelerate the rickshaw to a certain
speed. After a while the speed of rickshaw can be maintained to a constant
value. The chemical energy here has been converted to kinetic energy. The
kinetic energy of the rickshaw puller as well as rickshaw can be converted into
other forms as well. If the rickshaw puller encounters an incline upwards or
downwards then the kinetic energy can be converted into potential gravitational
energy with free fall respectively. Also if the rickshaw puller applied sudden
brakes then the kinetic energy is transferred through friction. Kinetic energy can be transferred from one
object to another object. For example in the game of snooker if the player
strikes the cue ball once then the energy of one ball is transferred to move
the other balls as well. It is due to collisions that kinetic energy transfers
from one object to another.
Science is one of the most
interesting and dynamic subjects. Diversified into different branches within
the subject (i.e. Chemistry, Biology & Physics) the area of study expands
for a student with multiple coverage of topics to memorize, a student needs to
practice more to enhance and analyze their theoretical knowledge. This can be
best done by Science projects as well as demonstrations. There are many types
of energies and kinetic
energy is one out of them.
Around the world s science is a
subject of fun, activities, facts, experiments etc for kids. Science for kids
is interesting only when the kids have a scope of involvement via activities,
experiments quiz, and charts etc. recently included in the section are games.
Today Education and child behavior is being constantly redefined by technology.
Interaction in today’s age is quite different the way our teachers grew up as a
result of which our teachers face a lot of challenges in adapting to different
teaching methods and techniques in attempts to match up with the
technologically advanced requirements. So kids now have the option to enjoy a
wide variety of interactive and learning games to make the process of learning
fun. You can access games for almost every topic, for example animals, plants,
electricity, sound, food, life cycles, motion, nomenclature and many more.
Internet not only offers science
for kids also it helps parents judge their kid’s knowledge about the
subject of how much does your kid knows about science. Parents can help their kids by explaining
them the various topics via videos and images. Kids are able to retrieve
maximum via visual sources of studies. Parents can test their kids time to time
via online worksheets thus science for kids becomes a fun journey for both
parents and students.

Fleming’s left hand rule
Fleming’s left hand rule and Fleming’s right hand rule were put forward by John Ambrose Fleming in 19th century. It was to find out the direction of motion or current in an electric motor or generator. There is an external magnetic field applied across the flow when the current is applied. There is a force perpendicular to that magnetic field and the direction of the flow of current. A left hand can determine the field and the flow of the current with the way. This can be further explained via a diagram
In the above diagram of Fleming’s
left hand rule each finger represents a physical quantity. The thumb represents
the thrust of motion or magnetic force, the first finger represents the
magnetic field and the middle finger represents the electric current. Magnetic
field has the direction fro9m north to south. The direction of electric current
is from positive to negative. It is also called as FBI rule.
The energy of motion is called kinetic energy. An object
with any kind of motion either vertical or horizontal possesses kinetic energy.
There are many types of kinetic energy for example vibrational, kinetic etc. it
can also be defined as the work needed to move a body of a certain mass and
also the amount of work needed to bring the body at rest.
The formula of kinetic energy of a non rotational
object m moving at a velocity v is
mv2. All the types of
energies for example gravitational energy, chemical energy, mechanical energy

Teacher's community- the trending approach to global learning
Teacher’s community
is a product of an idea to globally connect with a network of teachers where
you can share, explore and learn. It works more like a resource and learning
center for teachers, students as well as the parents. The largest communities for teachers are led
by real educators and people who want to create a difference by helping others
to learn and grow. Now, these communities cannot grow by limiting themselves to
the involvement of teachers until and unless there are students and parents as
well. Largest communities of teachers are also the largest communities of
students and parents.
Is it
necessary to know everything about computer technology to become a member of
such communities? No. You will discover that it is as easy as reading a book or
attending a classroom. The more you engage yourself into it, the more knowledge
you gain. You don’t have to travel anywhere to connect with educators
worldwide.
Teachers use
the best tools and methods for effective learning. Clearing one’s doubts
becomes easier as one gets multiple options of solutions and approach to tackle
a question. One on one interaction via live interaction with teachers leaves no
stone unturned to clarify ones concept as well as doubts. Communities for
teachers have been developing as a viable source of resources and knowledge
with accomplished teachers getting together to work on different projects, publishing
their writings and research material and engaging in many online discussions
with experts. Teachers learn about the advancements happening in technology by
sharing the latest news in the field of education technology also sharing
content such as web pages, lesson plans, video, audio, and written content.
This Community for teachers can be a great learning experience
for parents as well. Parents can interact with the teachers and also share
their thoughts and ideas to enhance the development of their child. Parents
spend a lot of time understanding the psyche of their children, finding it
difficult to run parallel to their kids they spend a lot of time and money on
workshops and seminars. With an access to communities where they can share
their thoughts with teachers and also the students themselves, they get to
learn many facts and a new dimension of learning and teaching contributing as
the largest community of parents.
1. One can access it anywhere and
anytime
2. It is very convenient to learn
3. You can learn at your own pace with
self directed learning
4. Being affordable, more and more
students, teachers and parents are able to use it.
5. The resources and other material
shared is useful on a practical basis.
6. There is no question of getting stuck
at any step as you have the facility of live interaction to get answers to all
of your questions and problems.
7. Its not monotonous as such
communities organize fun activities from time to time thus making learning fun.
All the resources, notes, ideas, files, documents and thoughts that are
shared are surely going to build up a trend of learning anytime and anywhere.
